Our Team
Kent Soignier: Owner/Pres./GM (Rider) Has been riding and repairing motorcycles since his early teen years. He grew up helping his dad fix cars, trucks and tractors etc growing up on a farm in Alaska. Riding turned into racing and competition, beginning with motocross in 1972, then hare scrambles, flat tracking, a couple years of observed trials , and starting roadracing in ‘82. Currently he rides a street legal KTM400EX/C, mostly in the woods on trails and commutes daily on a KLR650. Racing requires preparation, continual maintenance, and repairs. With a constant awareness to be looking for ways to improve performance Kent developed skills that were applied to servicing bikes in dealerships and independent repair shops fixing customer rides. The twenty one years spent as mechanic then service manager in dealerships benefited him with dozens of OEM provided schools, and certified training for Ohlins, Fox, Penske, Racetech, and a Miller hosted TIG welding course.
In 1990 Kent and Tracey took over an independent service business in the Atlanta area and incorporated their first business, in 1993 they got the first retail GMD Computrack franchise in the world. Since then our focus has been on the chassis business though we still do a lot of general repair too. Now he has six grandkids, and they all have their own dirtbikes, and they love to ride with ‘PaPaDee’.
Tracey Soignier: VP (rider): Runs our office, answers the phones. She surprises many a male caller who says “let me speak to a mechanic, I have a question”. She can answer 90% of questions callers have with knowledge of what works and why when it comes to improving or solving handling problems for motorcycles.
Nathan Kimbrow: Computrack Operator: (rider) graduated from MMI in Phoenix in 200?, and immediately came to Ga to work for us, At MMI he took a Racetech Seminar as added curriculum and liked the ‘Chassis aspect’. He started looking for a place in our world. His school placement department contacted us at the time when I needed another helper, so we hired him. Nate does most of our GMD Computrack analysis measurements and frame alignment work. For recreation he rides a YZ426 Yamaha motocrosser at tracks and does some trail riding with us. He has developed into a pretty good rider, able to put laps in clearing most all the jumps smoothly at the mx tracks around north Ga.
We provide high quality professional upgrades, maintenance and repair service for motorcycle chassis and suspensions, at a fair and reasonable cost.
GMDATL uses the motorcycle industry’s leading, most accurate measuring technology for Identification and Solution of Motorcycle chassis and handling problems.
